What does the TMS-X measure and how is pass/fail decided?
It tests the insulation performance of thermos cups. A nano-carbon fiber infrared lamp heats the cup internally to 200–230°C while the PWMC-Z4 AI high-speed scanning thermometer samples multiple points on the outer wall. Pass/fail uses the temperature-difference method with a user-set threshold between 2 and 4°C, at ±0.5°C repeatability.
Is preheating needed and how long is a test?
No preheating — testing starts as soon as the unit is powered on, removing the roughly 20-minute warm-up of traditional equipment. Heating time is adjustable from 20 to 60 seconds and a single test takes 40 seconds or less.
How do I choose between the TMS-X1, X2, X6 and X8?
The TMS-X1 is a desktop unit at up to 180 pcs/hour for R&D, QC sampling and third-party testing. The TMS-X2 is a 4-channel tester at up to 360 pcs/hour for small batches. The TMS-X6 is a 12-channel rotary tester at up to 1080 pcs/hour for medium-to-large volumes, and the TMS-X8 is a 16-channel rotary tester at up to 1440 pcs/hour for the highest volumes. All four cover the full process, need no compressed air, and support real-time temperature curves and yin-yang cup detection.
How much power does it draw?
Maximum power is 0.9KW on the X1, 1.8KW on the X2, 5.5KW on the X6 and 7KW on the X8, with standby at or below 0.1KW in every case. Test-time draw stays at or below 6.5KW (customers measure around 3.5KW), more than 50% below traditional 12–20KW equipment.
Can it connect to MES or an automated line?
MES integration and automated line integration are standard on the TMS-X6 and TMS-X8. On the TMS-X2, line integration is standard and MES integration is optional. The TMS-X1 is a desktop sampling unit and offers neither. Test data is retained digitally so every unit’s result stays traceable and reviewable.
How many operators are needed, and is compressed air required?
No compressed air is required. An edge AI computing platform runs the whole power-on, test, judge and record cycle automatically without operator intervention; in one deployment the inspection station went from six people to a single rover.
Which production stages does one unit cover?
It handles every inspection station before painting (stages 1 and 2) and after the third painting stage, so one unit covers the full production flow instead of separate machines per stage.
